What the hell is Steve Gillmor thinking?

In an article published in yesterday’s TechCrunch, Gillmor pronounces the death of RSS (Really Simple Syndication). He even proclaimed that Twitter is the champion of all newstreams.

Credibility versus the Internet

After listening to TWiT yesterday, I got to thinking about old media and the credibility it lends to the news.  Do you think that the Internet affords the same credibility but on a much larger scale?  My belief is that it does but only if you look in the right places.
